Best Nvidia Driver For Guild Wars 2

permalinkembedsaveparent[–]daft_inquisitorBaelyyrn Brightpaw 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago(0 children)Hm, I noticed the same things as Abbadon. Reinstall GW2? If the drivers made any difference, it's minimal, at least for me. The drivers say nothing about performance with GW2 but does mention wow, swtor, mech warrior online and borderlands 2, go figure. navigate here

What are your rig specs? All of this equates to an image of "We really don't care, you've already bought the game". There goes my excitement. Register now!

it's slow, but that's to be expected given the hardware. Still sitting at around 40 fps in the center of the Crown Pavillion on ultra settings. Sometimes my gpu sits at 40% sometimes it is at 99%. I will take it. :) AMD Phenom II 965 3.8GHz (2.6GHz NB) 8GB 1600MHz Ram 8-8-8-22 1t nVidia GTX 285 1GB and a WD Black 1TB drive. the worst of ANY game I've ever played (which is not to say it has the worst optimization, just the most variation between configurations and system variables) Truly, I am disappointed.Would

i thought the reason was cause i was looking for 64bit, i noticed the 32bit was on nvidia site after i made the above post, thought maybe all in the thread Load times are faster too. It seems that Arena Net is attempting to take the "we can do it ourselves, go away" approach to the help either company is offering. There's no consumer CPU out there that can run it at 60fps, just saying.

Well i've never made a game or a driver, but a game on this scale should not perform so low compared to "other" (older) drivers. GPU usage is almost always pegged at 99%.i'm also noticing very little variance. ill let you know. anyway, where is the download for this driver?

Check in Nvidia Control Panel if this is enable after driver update. I really... That's where I get my 300% variance from. Does anyone know of a patch that did it or on Nvidia's end?

You might find if you actually put up a message on the official forums they are more than happy to help you with fixing the problem. 0 Back to top #30 check over here I hve GTX 580 Lightning Xtreme and my settings were full with Supersampling on. The original 256-bit GTX 460 is around the HD 6850-level (obligatory link to The Chart). permalinkembedsavegive gold[–]starwattoCasually hardcore since 2012 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago(0 children)I am not sure about loading times, but I definitely have less significant framerate drops in heavily populated areas.

Enter the game2. Now, please, explain this. I manage to get 29-37fps in Lions Arch under maximum settings in the same viewing point in Lions Arch. his comment is here ANET has failed on a level I've never seen before.the first part looks like a CPU bottleneck, since the i7 is quite a bit faster.

Have nearly 100 hours logged into final release. Go to OPTIONS3. I am not sure if it is my isp but i have very good latency and 100mbps connection.

What a joke.

i am on the nvidia website, but searching both released and beta drivers, i still only see 306.23 as the latest available...http://www.geforce.c...9/nvidiaupdate# Try here. 0 Back to top #14 Tellia Tellia Should I? all blame, at this juncture, falls on Arena Net. so whatever the issue is, i won't say it's all anet's fault.

Over a month in and this game still has the worst optimization I've ever seen in all 23 years of my life. permalinkembedsaveparentgive gold[–]TheImperator838[EU] Piken Square 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago(1 child)Hmm no. There are far fewer situations where turning the camera will cause a FPS Drop, as well as then the FPS does drop it doesnt drop nearly as much. weblink All rights reserved.

Imo - less powerful CPU you have, the more this update helps. Over a month in and this game still has the worst optimization I've ever seen in all 23 years of my life. Optimizations for CPU load pls, not GPU.Playing GW2 on a 460 is a joke at best, 550 TI minimum, and still max FPS I get in heavy area's is 30, the The game crashes on me all the time.

Maybe not so much a fair comparison but cmon. 10 FPS? permalinkembedsaveparent[–]vluhdvluhdalt.2715 - [RNG] 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago(1 child)yeah, did a clean install as well. a cheap netbook a few years old could run it quite well. permalinkembedsaveparentgive gold[–]Abbadon35[LYSS] Sorrow's Furnace 2 points3 points4 points 2 years ago(0 children)I noticed a pretty significant overall improvement.

I have a friend that has the 5850 and the game chugged if the shadows were put up.

It's not a severe bottleneck or anything and it feels right to me that a card like the 6850 should be the limiter. permalinkembedsavegive gold[–]blueangel1953 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago(0 children)Loads times are much improved, I did a test with the old drivers 337.50 (beta) and was getting 50-52fps in this one area staring

edit: That was with the WHQL 660ti drivers, nevermind. The only time the game was horrible for me was with my old Phenom II 940 BE, and the same 6850 I have now, but that was back in BWE1. by Terrere › XFX Gts XXX Edition Rx 580 8GB OC+ 1386Mhz DDR5 3xDP HDMI DVI...
