Best Drivers For Ati Radeon 9550

I have another Radeon 9600 Pro and it installed properly, but the 9550 is a nightmare getting it to work. I see it as installed, pluged in and working properly without even downloading some kind of driver. I thought AMD only supports the pre-HD 2000 series only on CCC 10.2 Legacy or earlier? Can DOS, or even Win-98 even be installed on a Xeon-based motherboard?On a system like that, why would you consider running win-98 in any way other than as a virtual OS?I'm I'm looking in all the forums for a darn way to fix the problem that slowly destroys my PC.
