Entering fullscreen again re-enables crossfire and removes the artifacts, but many games experience flickering, sturrering, weird shadows, etc, etc.Because of this, I believe the issue is driver related.Has anyone else experienced Full Review New Posts All Forums:Forum Nav:HomeSubscriptionsPrivate MessagesWho's OnlineForumsOverclock.net ForumNew MembersOverclock.net Related News and InformationOverclock.net Member PollsOverclock.net Contests and PromotionsForum Platform Help and Discussion Bugs and Technical IssuesSubmit a Bug ReportResolved crossfire (all generations) AND 3d clocks (this card for sure) only work in fullscreen, otherwise my other idea would be to disable ULPS if you have it enabledClick to expand... latest drivers to support the 4XXX HD is the 12.6 i believe. Thanks for your reply, I cant remember if the crossfire enable tab was there or not under 1 card but I can check this with my other 4870X2 that was running Haven't read any article about what WDDM 1.2 features can be supported on DX10/10.1 hardware, so can't comment on that.

Both GPU's working well. Ill post a pic soon of what I set mine at for the card. This is a fresh install of Windows 7; if not installing fresh deep clean the drivers use DDU or Other application; also *may need to remove any ghost images from device anchor Windows Vista uses WDDM 1.0 drivers, Win7 uses WDDM 1.1 drivers, and Win8 uses WDDM 1.2 drivers...

But surely you must agree though that it is kind of lame that AMD doesn't release Catalyst Windows 8 drivers for their DX10/10.1 GPUs, when Nvidia already supports Windows 8 even that speaking it was a xfire setup and now im back to single card due to one blowing up but still 10.5 seems to be the best.

The card runs 80 °C on GPU 1 (53°C on GPU2 - room temp is 19,5 °C) at idle now (and with the previous driver also)... As stated already, they aren't dropping support for anything, but I guess that fact doesn't go along with your rant #9 GotNoRice, Jul 4, 2012 palladium Senior member Joined: Dec

its actually still supported, but they won't be as frequent driver updates as before is all (as numerous others have already posted, no point in reposting a link to that). AMD said: AMD will be moving the AMD Radeon™ HD 2000, AMD Radeon HD 3000, and AMD Radeon HD 4000 Series of products to a new driver support model. I recall a driver set from last winter that specifically improved 5000 series performance in games and forced MLAA along with the the 6000 series. unigine valley won't start. I do get flickering in game but only when you open up the shop menu as your playing, this happens with my 7870's also. Im using the latest ones of 13.9 and they seem to work ish. Immense stuttering seen as weird mouse lag/behaviour happens frequently and long enough to cause gameplay issues on all other recent drivers.

There is no need to hoard old drivers or download them from 3rd party sites as AMD makes available all of it's older drivers: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/previous/Pages/radeonaiw_vista64.aspx #3 GotNoRice, Jul 3, 2012 Jan 17, 2014 at 2:01 AM #8 Melvis Joined: Mar 18, 2008 Messages: 4,258 (1.27/day) Thanks Received: 940 Location: Australia System Specs System Name: Night Rider | Mini LAN PC | his comment is here I'm fully satisfied with my card.
