Once reported, our staff will be notified and the comment will be reviewed. Turns out having the games shader setting set to anything lower than pc2, would cause some sort of FPS bug with the lighting effect on the flashing boosters in game lol. Anyway, i hope there is a solution for this or that you update this issue soon. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/136873-33-best-drivers-9600 If not, there will be a memorial service sometime in the near future.Thank you in advance!Michael Thursday, November 05, 2009 8:44 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote I

I've experimented with several alternatives, just to be presented with BSOD's, loss of screen scaling features, etc. You should probably think of a new graphics card or a new computer (this is probably better than keeping an old system alive with some new components) instead if you want Installed the catylist drivers (latest ones), it rebooted, and locked up during the video test mode it does with new driver installs (including the login screen has a bunch of graphical Work fine with any …rockrider812016-May-14 8:032 (quote) I don't know if that is the case, but the same (almost) …denaz2014-Nov-24 10:092 Works Here with ATI RADEON 4200 HD , But Can't

ATI has not made any newer OS drivers for this chipset.  I was finally able to find information on Driver Heaven, and finally found the driver on Badongo.com.Hope I have not

get a better card (what I would do) 1. I bought a new card, and sent in the old one to ATI as an RMA. I'm assuming that's due to the confliction between 64 bit and 32 bit, anyone have any ideas?

Note that your submission may not appear immediately on our site.

But when I installed newer drivers the fps got lower. I rember when I used to have one myself, that the latest drivers were the WORST thing to put on it, and you needed an older driver set. Mmm... Catalyst drivers are for all AMD based graphics cards and APUs.

Install new driver from desktop 6. Until we slapped in a shiny new Xonar STX (Taiwan), same build date as all the rest of our new machine. I had been unable to find any correctly functioning Catalyst drivers for my Mob. to 9800XT 256 or X800Pro .. 9600 2 monitors, 2 resolutions 9600 Pro New MMC Install Hangs Knackered 9600 pro Can't find your answer ?

I would recomend before you install the latest drivers that you go to your device manager click on the video card and uninstall the current driver before installing your new drivers, I have encountered Maintaining updated ATI Radeon 9600 PRO software prevents crashes and maximizes hardware and system performance. You could get a newer card that will be supported in Win8 and will kick you old 9250's ass up one side and down the other for like $30.
