You might try the same thing in your preamp and amp. I would be much better prepared to celebrate the 45s with some pics of your amps! but this is no longer a 300B amp. I've use mine in a direct reactance type amp I built (a variation on the Monkey or free lunch circuit) that is direct coupled: no capacitors in the signal path.
